The fishing side of Paul Wallace is limited to motors of 10 horsepower or less, keeping it calm for anglers after largemouth bass, bluegill, shellcracker, chain pickerel and catfish. The adjoining Lake Wallace Wildlife Management Area adds about 52 acres of shoreline habitat. With its lighted trail, boating area and city-park amenities, it is a community hub as much as a fishing lake. A South Carolina license is required to fish.
